Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker Experience

You remember watching The Nutcracker as a child... visions of Sugar Plum Fairies and toy soldiers in gorgeous costumes exquisitely dancing around the hand painted backdrops. The images still create an overwhelming and magical sensation making The Nutcracker a memorable, must see holiday tradition. Or at least that was our experience on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Our first annual Great Russian Nutcracker Ballet fundraiser was a success bringing in over $9,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. Next year, we hope to make the event even bigger and better so stay tuned for information about the 2010 event!
There is no better way to kick off your holiday season than attending the Great Russian Nutcracker. The Moscow Ballet has an impressive history of award winning ballerinas and a desire to give back to the local community. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas is proud to have been selected the beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from the 2009 Great Russian Nutcracker performance in Little Rock on Wednesday, November 25 and for performances in years to come.
Ronald McDonald House had the best seats in the house along with a prestigious pre-performance reception with Moscow Ballet Ballerinas. Prior to curtain there was a pretigious reception held at the Robinson Center Music Hall, which comprised of gourmet snacks prepared by Pulaski Technical College Culinary Institute and an opportunity to be photographed with the ballerinas. Afterwards everyone was able to enjoy the magic of the Nutcracker performance from special reserved seats in the Orchestra Level... close enough to see every costume detail, movement and expression!
To reserve your spot for next year, contact Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas as 501-374-3318 or lisa@rmhclittlerock.org.
Now is the time to introduce this dazzling experience to your family and create memories they will remember for a lifetime.
