Our Relationship With McDonald's
Ronald McDonald House Charities has been McDonald's "charity of choice" for 35 years!
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation operating independently from the hospitals we serve. We rely on the generosity of our community to help us carry out our mission each year. McDonald's is one of our largest corporate donors. Through participation in fundraisers and other special events, McDonald's plays a huge role in helping RMHCA raise operational dollars every year. They also utilize their restaurants to raise funds and awareness for RMHC AR through donation boxes, where customers can donate change, and through their world-wide annual fundraiser, McHappy Day.
McDonald's involvement extends beyond monetary support with owner/operators volunteering in all areas of the charity including serving on our Board of Directors. They also help us secure other monetary and in-kind donations on local and national levels.
RMHC is the community's charity, not a corporate foundation.
Although McDonald's is our largest corporate donor, no company can solely fund RMHC AR programs and our projected growth. We need the support of the entire community and greatly value any support you can afford to RMHCA, whether it's through cash donations, your time or fundraising efforts.
