All reservations must be made by a hospital representative. If you are interested in staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas, please speak with the clinic your child will be visiting.

    You are eligible to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas if:
  • You live outside a 50-mile radius of Little Rock.
  • Your child is 21 years of age or younger.
  • You are an adult receiving outpatient cancer treatments at local cancer facilities.
    Length of Stay:
  • Out Patients - Out patients may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for a period of one to three nights.
  • ICU/Burn Patients - Families who have a child in any of the ICU facilities (NICU, PICU, CVICU) or in the burn center may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for a 30-day rotation period. After thirty days, a family must check out and wait a period of three days before being placed back on the waiting list.
  • Cancer Patients - Patients may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for the duration of their treatments up to one year. If treatments last longer than one year, an appeal to the House Management Committee may be made for their consideration. If a cancer patient must be admitted into the hospital for more than ten days, their room must be vacated. All cancer patients must have a support person stay with them during their time at the Ronald McDonald House.
    We Provide:
  • One private bedroom with lavatory per family for up to four family members
  • A one-bedroom apartment for long term cancer patients
  • Bed and bath linens
  • Three fully equipped, double kitchen areas
  • Free laundry facilities
  • Common areas with TV
  • Children's inside and outside play areas
  • Library
  • Private Lactation Room
    Guests Provide:
  • $10 per night contribution. It costs the House $57 per room, per day to operate. Guests can help with these costs. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. However, no family is ever turned away because of inability to pay
  • Care for your children

Check-In Procedures

Once you have a reservation, you are free to check in anytime between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. No admissions will be accepted outside of this time frame without prior approval.
