Share-A-Night, Light-A-Life Holiday Celebration

The Board of Directors and staff of the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas invite you to join us for a special evening to celebrate,
"Children...the Light of Our Life."
We celebrated our 17th Annual Christmas Open House on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The night was full of events including the outside lighting by Ronald McDonald and Craig O'Neill at Channel 11, with assistance from a 12 year heart transplant patient named Marquis who has been living here at the house with his mom. We also had the pleasure of listening to the Children's International Choir from UALR as they sang Chrismas songs. After caroling and the lighting ceremony everyone was able to enjoy refreshments provided by Twin City Food Brokers as well as from volunteers of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. The choir sang once more as Santa arrived with gifts in tow for all the kids. Overall the evening was a great success and we already can't wait till next year.
Help us celebrate the holidays by investing in the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas mission of providing a home away from home for families with an ill child being treated at a local hospital. It costs us just over $50 per room per day to keep our House open for the nearly 1,000 families we serve each year. By making a donation in support of our families staying at the House during the holidays, you will take away one less worry with your gift of love. We are able to care for families in need because of the generous support of people like you.
