Cleaning Days

Spring Cleaning is a tradition in many homes and the Ronald McDonald House is no exception to this rule.

Spring Cleaning Fling, which takes place in April each year, allows volunteers to come into the House and help us clean it from top to bottom. With a House this big, it takes a lot of people to cover all the rooms, but with a House full of sick kids and their families, it is important that we keep it as clean as possible.

We enjoy the spring cleaning tradition so much that we decided to create another one for Fall. Fall Round Up is a second opportunity to help give the House a thorough cleaning.

Volunteers are not afraid to get their hands dirty with these events. They do everything from painting walls and steam cleaning carpets to organizing kitchens and yard work. However, it is not all work and no play. A thank you lunch is provided to all the volunteers for their time and hard work.

If you are interested in volunteering at Spring Cleaning Fling or Fall Round Up, contact the Ronald McDonald House or keep checking the website for the dates and times.
